Each day a new test begins with an open heart
With the journey through eternity rising and falling
You try as you may but everyone falls it is an art
To fall gracefully is a thing of beauty is not in everyone's calling
Errors of the past can all be forgiven
Without a cruel twist of fate digging in its teeth
Apologies are a must for those who are driven
To make peace and assume the position beneath
All control submit for my own approval
As a lack of choice brings the smile back to your face
As you being your descent in to thoughts removal
You hesitate in small ways trying to find a way to play your ace
I change the game just as quickly as I can
In that moment you begin to understand
You no longer have steps to follow your plan
Because you have enter my very own land
